Happy Fall everyone!
Even though the weather is getting cooler, we still have things going on throughout the year. Here is what is going on over the next few months:
2nd Annual Neighborhood Cider Press
On October 11 we will be pressing 305 pounds of Apples! Stop on by, learn how to grind and press the apples and get some fresh cider!
Start Time: About 10am.
Christmas Potluck
We are looking for someone to host a Christmas Potluck dinner at their home sometime in December. The dates and times are open. This replaces the former progressive dinner that we used to do.
If you are interested in hosting, please let me know.
Bunco/Social Hour
We are looking for people to host Bunco again starting in January. We’ve lifted the restrictions on it only being on Friday nights, so if you want to host on a Friday or Saturday let me know. If we don’t get enough signups, it will revert to a social hour.
Wednesday Night Socials
It goes by many names. Wenzel Wednesday, Wine Wednesday, Whiskey Wednesday. Whatever you want to call it, every Wednesday we still get together from 7:30-9:30 to socialize no matter what the weather. The location rotates around the neighborhood. Everyone is welcome to join or host! If you love good company and a fire pit, this is the place to be every Wednesday. If you want to know where it is on any given week and it’s not published on the Facebook group (or if you just don’t use Facebook), reach out to me and I always know where it is.
Halloween!
Halloween is coming up on a Friday this year! Expect lots of kids to be out and around the neighborhood. At least a few houses (ours included) are going to have fire pits going. So feel free to stop in, join the festivities, and remember to be safe out there

- Flagging me down on the street. I am out and about walking the neighborhood a lot so I’m generally pretty easy to find.
